I was considering the merit simply because it has more pieces to the kit, but i love my ogee. Is there that big of a difference in the two? I searched the board, but i didn’t see these two brands compared. My ogee review is going to highlight a few specific organic beauty products and discuss if the makeup is worth it or not.

The domed cream blushes glide onto skin without dragging, and give my cheeks radiant Wa is one of my favorite brands and i have several of their products. The foundation is very skin like and offers light to medium coverage. I am 47 with combo skin and fine lines and this foundation melts into the skin.
It is very similar in finish to the merit one (if your sephora has merit) but unfortunately merit breaks me out.

I’m going to be honest: Despite the stellar reviews of this, i didn’t really expect to love it. The minimalist is both a foundation and a concealer, and is meant to act as both in your makeup bag. Stick complexion products historically are slightly too drying for my skin, but this product changed my perspective on them completely.
So i have decided to not buy either.
Ogee is sooo expensive and it just isnt worth it. I have seen reviews on youtube and the foundation actually moves even with primer. I have seen other brands with similar concepts i want to try, one is westman atlier I love the merit foundation stick.
It comes in a shade that is the perfect match for my skin and i realized i love the convenience of a stick foundation. However i realized after the merit foundation bullet flew out of its packaging upon opening it that the packaging is faulty and i’m actually getting such a tiny amount of product for the price. Plus, merit worked equally well with my other favorite makeup products from brands like tower 28 and glossier. If it’s in your budget, i think merit is worthy of a spot in your beauty routine.
I agree and as i said in my review before reading the reviews, i am currently using il makiage and i love it.
I do mix it with a tinted spf though and i don't use heavily. Many have made the mistake of buying ogee and not reading the return policy. I'd say bc of that, they are a scam. Ogee sculpted complexion stick review:
